During the hour-long interview Radford draws a distinction between scientific investigation of paranormal claims and mere stories:
I like a good story as much as anybody. I like ghost stories. I like tall tales, but don't call them science. Don't call them reality if they're not. What I've found is that the believers far more often ignore the skeptical answers than the skeptics ignore the believer."
Radford also discusses his participation in psychic detective investigations and his take on the psychic medium research of Dr. Gary Schwartz at the University of Arizona.
